Redundant web is not something that most businesses consider for one reason or another. When it comes to international business it might make sense in most cases to have a redundant web hosting solution in place. Consider the Internet outage in Asia this week; an earthquake has left much of Asia and part of Australia without Internet access. In my own personal testing of several sites in China, I was unable to reach them.
Consider what country or countries you do major business with. It might make good business sense to have redundant web hosting in place in the event of a major outage. Consider the Asia example and the business websites that are not accessible at this time. Businesses in China or other countries doing a major portion of business here in the US, or any other country for that matter are essentially out of business if their web sites are not accessible.
